One of the pipeline we have so far in the milestones by 2025 1 is “e-Commerce Enhancement in Rwanda” among manufacturers, suppliers and customers as the key players in this project. Why ATradezone? The Rwanda’s cross-border trade looks very difficult right now. To thrive during unprecedented times, business need to be more resilient and creative than ever.

At present, the use of eCommerce remains limited, however growing quickly. As a result, ATradezone saves it’s players hundreds of work hours while creating an online marketplace to bring a store to their fingertips.

ATradezone platform is a unique opportunity to open access to international and local markets for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As such ATradezone holds a key role as an enabler boosting SMEs capacity to export and import goods and services by 2024[3].

Remote Sales Agent Job brief

We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects and share our core values, as well as our passion for helping sellers or merchants to setup their store on ATradezone.com in “e-Commerce Enhancement in Rwanda” project.

Sales Agent Responsibilities

  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Act as an advisor with your customers to coach them and educate them on our top services
  • Deliver presentations to customers reporting on progress and completion of project
  • Training peers and co-working of effective tools and communication patterns
  • Analyzing customer retention rates
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Create sales material to present to customers
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyse the territory market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

Sales Agent Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
  • Must have excellent verbal and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or other related fields
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • The ability to work with people in high-stress situations and continue to perform
  • The ability to work with a team and take on tasks as needed
  • Highly motivated with the discipline work autonomously (Work from Home available)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
